Abstract：Four yardlongbean Vigna sesquipedalis (L. ) Furwirth lines with different resistance to rust ( Uromyces vignae Barcl) were used to make populations of F 1、F 2、BC 1 and BC 2,and resistance identification in these populations by natural infestation in field was conducted to explore the inheritance in yardlongbean to rust. The results revealed that the resistance of the resistant line Zijia and Baijia were controlled by a single dominant gene respectively.
