Abstract:The effects of waterlogging stress on plant growth,activities of SOD,POD,CAT,ASA content and MDA content were studied in flowering Chinese cabbage ( Brassica campestris L. ssp. Chinensis var. utilis Tsen et Lee). The results indicated that catalase (CAT) activity of leaves and roots,and peroxidase (POD) activity of leaves increased gradually in 4 days of waterlogging stress,but at 4th day they began to decrease sharply,and they rised again after 6 days of waterlogging stress.
