Abstract:The cucumber seedlings were treated at high temperature after being sprayed with Ca 2+ at the second true leaf. The results showed that Ca 2+ could retard the descent speed of chlorophyll content,chlorophyll a/b,phytosynthetic rate and quantum yield effectively,and inhibit the increasement of MDA content and electrolytic leakage. The Ca 2+ treatment also resulted in high activities of the enzymes which eliminate active oxygen in cucumber seedlings.
