Abstract：The heredity of fruit colour of bitter gourd was studied by using four inbred line and its F 1,F 2,BC 1,BC 2 of two cross of ZH961123×G968031 and S961598×G961211,G968031 and S961598 were two green fruit inbred line,ZH961123 and G961211 inbred lines were white. The result showed that the fruit colour of bitter goured was controlled by one pair of nuclcar gene,green was dominant to white.
