Abstract：Zhongnong No.9 is a new cucumber F 1 hybrid with a few spines, short fruits and high yield. Its plant grows vigorously, and it yields 112.5～225 tons per hm 2. It is tolerant to chilling, low light and downy mildew. It is resistant to scab, fusarium wilt and bacterial angular leaf spot. It is suitable for greenhouse cultivation in winter, plastic shed in spring and fall. It can get the best effect by grafting in greenhouse in winter. Average fruit is about 15～20cm length and 100g weight.
