Abstract：Effect of propagating material such as lateral rhizome, leader rhizome and whole rhizome on lotus growing was studied. It indicated that: The effect of the three propagating materials on lotus growing was not significant. Lotus grew faster than the others when the leader rhizome was used seed rhizome.
