Abstract：Jiangshu No. 2 is a new middle-early maturing slight-hot-pepper F_1 hybrid developed by excellent inbreed 93018 crossing with inbreed 92162. It is resistant to TMV and anthracnose, and is tolerant to CMV. It is horn shaped, 60 g in weight, with smooth skin, slight pungent. The average yield is 52.5 t·hm~(-2). It is suitable to cultivate in both protected and open field. It has been extended in Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Sichuan, and Hainan provinces.
