Abstract:Longjiao No.8 is a processing red hot pepper cultivar with super-early maturity, good marketable characters, strongly hot, high red pigment, resistant to anthracnose and bacterial spot, tolerant to TMV and pepper phytophthora blight. It takes 120-130 days from sowing to the first harvest.Its total yield reaches 37.7 t·hm -2 in open field. Average fruit weight is 17 g. It is suitable to cultivate in cold area.
