Abstract:The values of GCA, SCA of 5 main quality characters (protein content, total sugar content,length, fruit flesh thickness and fruit dry weight) in pickling cucumber were analyzed. The GCA of protein content, total sugar content, fruit flesh thickness and fruit dry weight of the line ZR22 were high,but that of length was low, which indicated the line ZR22 was a optimum parent for hybridization.
