Abstract：Xinjiao No.10 is a medium hot pepper F_1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line 93-140 as female parent with inbred line 99-141 as male parent. It grows vigorously with long growth period. It has stronger resistance to virus and Phytophthora blight than Zhudachang. Its fruit is long sheep-horn shaped, 36.2 cm in length, 3.7 cm of shoulder diameter, and 0.26 cm of flesh thickness. Average fruit weight is 76 g, and average yield is 60 t·hm~-2.
