Abstract：Yansun No.1 is development by crossing female parent 96-4-6 with male parent 96-2-4, which are selected and acclimated from asparagus resources introduced from the USA. It has high salt-tolerance, giving a yield of fresh sprouts over 6.0 t·hm~(-2) in its 3rd year and over 7.5 t·hm~(-2) in its 4th year, in a field with soil salt content of (0.2 %)-0.8 %.
