Abstract:Jinghongli is a high quality winter squash (C. maxima) F_1 hybrid with early maturity and high yield. The fruit is round and flat shape, bright orange rind, deep orange flesh with average fruit weight of 1.5 kg. It tastes floury and sweet with flavour of chestnut. It is suitable for cultivation in both open field and protected field in spring and autumn. More than 700 hm2 of Jinghongli have been planted in China.
