Abstract：The effect of 60 mmol·L~(-1) CaCl_2 for seed-soaking on water status,photosynthesis and respiration of radish leaves under soil drought stress was studied.The result showed that under drought condition,CaCl_2 treatment increased relative water content(RWC),water potential,content of chlorophyll,rates of photosynthesis,transpiration consumption and rates of respiration of radish,with compared with H_2O treatment.
