Abstract：Sixteen cucumber cultivars with different adaptability to low temperature and weak light were employed. Indexes on photosynthesis,physiology and biochemistry,morphology under low temperature and weak light were measured.Efficient early stage identification method and evaluation system for low temperature and weak light adaptability were deve- loped and used in the germplasm selection.The stability,operability,selection pressure and standardization of the evaluation system were discussed.
