Abstract： Liaocong No.6 is a third copulation welsh onion hybrid.Its male parent is inbred line 2000Y24-3S98 and female parent is 100 % male sterile single cross hybrid 244-152A.The plant grows vigorously,resists wind and is about 120 cm in height.The stalk is 50-55 cm in length and 3.0-4.5 cm in diameter.The stalk is single and there is no tiller during the period of vegetative growth.The edible rate is 60.63 % for winter-stored Liaocong No.6 welsh onion.The yield is about 69 t·hm-2.It is suitable for planting in no...
