Abstract：n order to establish an effective evaluation method for testing tomato drought resistance,different tomato varieties(lines)were tested under extreme dry conditions with sun covered and uncovered treatments to screen their drought resistance.Through comparative analysis,an effective method was found for drought resistance identification.In this method,seedlings were planted in earthen bowl filled with nutrients,treated with extreme dry soil under intensified sunlight but with coverage.24 highly drought resistance and 59 drought tolerance materials were screened from 139 tomato materials by this method.
