Abstract：Efficiency comparing of ginger storage methods was carried on between micro energy-saving refrigerator and self-designed cold box.Results showed that the ginger damaging rate of cold box storage method（1.73 %）is 0.08 percentage points lower than that of micro type refrigerator（1.81 %）.The cost is 34.57 Yuan per 1 000 kg fresh ginger by cold box storage method，and which is 166.78 Yuan per 1 000 kg fresh ginger by micro type refrigerator.The former can save 132.23 Yuan than the latter.Which means that cold box storage method is a practical method with high efficiency and low cost.
