Abstract：Cucumber mosaic virus is one of the main viruses in pepper.This paper reviews the studies carried on germplasm resources with CMV resistance in pepper,resistance breeding and progress made in molecular marker and quantitative genetics.It also prospects the development direction for CMV resistance pepper breeding in China.
