Abstract：‘Ninggua No.1’is a F1 hybrid bitter developed by taking K-03 as male parent and K-09 as female parent. It has the following characteristics: strong growth vigor and shoot productive ability. The first female flower position is at 12-16 joint. Its fruit is of long club shape, 28-36 cm in length, 7.0-8.5 cm in diameter, 0.9-1.2 cm of flesh thickness. It is of early-middle maturity. Its fruit is light green in color with crispy and tumour chequered with round and straight. The single fruit is about 500 g in weight. Its yield is about 37.5-45.0 t·hm-2.‘Ninggua No.1’and‘Cuiyu’have the same level resistance to powdery mildew. It is suitable to be cultivated in bitter-producing areas all over Fujian Province.
