Abstract：Chunyu is a new bitter gourd F_1 hybrid developed by crossing two inbred lines G91022-1 and G91064.The first female flower occurs at 8th-10th node. The average fruit is about 26-28 cm in length, 6-7 cm in diameter,1.2 cm in flesh thickness and 326 g in weight. Its skin is green with spines. It takes 59 days from sowing to the first harvesting. Its early yield is 6.3 t·hm~-2, and total yield is 48.0 t·hm~-2. It has stronger resistance to powdery mildew and blight than Guangxidarou No.1, and tolerance to heat...
