Abstract：Jindan No.49 is a new sweet corn F_1 hybrid, developed by crossing two inbred lines GT193 and GT195. It takes 90 days from germination to harvesting. It has slender leaves and long internode. The plant is 260 cm high and corn ear occurs 100 cm above ground. The cob is 22.0 cm in length and 4.7 cm in diameter, has 14-16 rows with 40 grains per row.
