Abstract：Xiulu is a new muskmelon F1 hybrid. Its paternal plants were inbred line 96-997 and 96-996, which is selected from the progenies of two Japanese muskmelon F1 hybrids. Its fruit is round with white smooth rind and its flesh is light green, 3. 5cm in thickness. The average fruit weight is about 1. 5 kg and soluble solid content is about 15 %.
