Abstract：The physiological and biochemical items variations of different eggplant varieties under the heat stress, were studied in the experiment and the velated indexes were screened. The membrane damage extent under high temperature, proline content, transpiration rate and root activity were suggested as the select indexes for the heat-tolerance breeding.
