Abstract： Jinyu No.5 is a new cucumber F 1 hybrid developed by crossing A-8 with Jin3105. It is early maturity, high resistant to downy mildew, powdery mildew and fusarium wilt. Its plant grows vigorously, and it yields 150 t·hm -2 in greenhouse. Average fruit is about 32 cm in length and 150-200 g in weight. Fruits are dark green, sweet and crispy, with white spin and have good quality and high marketable percentage. It shows excellent fruit setting capacity, and mainly setting on the main vine.
