Abstract：The sprouting time of ginger was gradually earlier with the increasing of seed-ginger size in this experiment. The plant of big seed-ginger size grew vigorously at seedling stage. But too big or too small seed-ginger size was not beneficial to the growth and yield of ginger at vigorous growth stage.
