Abstract：The yield loss (Y) attributed to Liriomyza sativae in cowpea was tested. The results showed that the yield loss increased with the number (X) of worm eaten path. The regression equation was:Y= -76.101 +3.469X. According to the present price of cowpea,the cost and effect of control,the economic threshold,for controlling of Liriomyza sativae was 30.35 worm eaten path per leaf.
