Abstract：The uredospores of cowpea rust pathogen,Uromyces vignae,were tested for their conditions of sporulation and inoculation. Successful sporulations were always obtained when the uredospores were incubated on sterilized tap or distilled water,1 % glucose,1 % sucrose,leaf extract of cowpea seedlings or surface of separating leaves.
