Abstract：Inheritance of resistance to anthracnose in three crosses of snapbean was investigated. Results show that in all crosses the resistance was controlled by dominant genes. Data in two crosses support the hypothesis that a single dominant gene controls the resistance. However,the cross involved in Chinese local cultivar showed a complicated inheritance and further research is required.
