Abstract：Strains Comn 1 and No.1800 of Staphylococcus aureus have been first compared during serological tests for detecting tomato viruses by virobacterial agglutination test (VBA). The results showed that the strain No. 1800’s sensitivities were 2～ 10 times higher than strain Comn 1’s. The former enabled the detection of ToMV,CMV and PVX viruses at a concentration of 3.4 ～ 13.0 ng / mL and the maximum leaf sap dilution of 1/ 1000 ～1/ 100000, which were almost equal to them by PAS-ELISA. ...
