Abstract：The number and size of rhizomes were different depending on growth stages. The number and size of rhizome were highest at 15￣20 leaf stages,lower at 21￣25 leaves and lowest at more than 25 leaves. It is advantageous to grow new rhizome when they were harvested or thin out every 5￣7 days and kept a space of 50cm×50cm.
