A New Cucumber Hybrid for Protected Cultivation —‘Zhongnong No.26’

Abstract:‘Zhongnong No.26’is a newly bred cucumber F1 hybrid using inbred line 01316 as maternal parent and 04348 as paternal parent. Its fruit is about 30 cm in length with short neck and dark green skin. It has resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, ZYMV, WMV, mid-resistance to Fusarium wilt. It is tolerate to low temperature and weak light. It can bear fruit sustainably and has remarkable high yielding potential. It can yield 133.5 t·hm-2 in early spring in solar-greenhouse. It is suitable for protected cultivation, especially for solar-greenhouse.
