Abstract：In this study，62 tomato cultivars were used for cultivar AFLP fingerprinting analysis.65 pairs of optimum primer were screened and amplified.Five of them，whose polymorphism information contents were richer than others，were used to carry out the selected amplification.85 polymorphism bands were obtained，which took 35.41% of the total amplified bands.A primary AFLP fingerprinting of 62 tomato cultivars testing was established with 16 bands of the 85 amplified polymorphic bands.The results showed that 62 tomato cultivars can be identified by AFLP fingerprinting performed with primers P55M48，P58M68，P21M49，P77M51 and P58M60.
