Abstract：This study evaluated the level of genetic diversity of eggplant（Solanum melongena
L.） germplasm resources through making morphological markers on 76 copies of eggplant germplasm
resources. The results showed that the morphological traits of the tested eggplant germplasm showed
genetic differences. The average variable coefficient between each germplasm traits was 54.83%，of
which the largest variable coefficient was leaf spines，493.3%，the least variable coefficient was fruit
curvature，10.9%. Clustering analysis was carried out on eggplant phenotypic character，76 eggplant
materials were divided into 3 groups taking Pearson correlation coefficient 23 as clustering threshold，if
taking Pearson correlation coefficient 19.5 as clustering threshold，76 eggplant materials were divided
into 7 sub-groups.
