Abstract：Shenyu’ is a new watermelon variety with small and medium size fruit，yellow flesh，
and seedless．The whole growth period of this variety is about 100 days．It takes about 30 days from
female flower bloom to fruit mature．The plant grows in medium and strong vigor．Cauline leaf is in
medium level．It has strong resistance to disease and stress. The fruit is of short oval shape with dark
green peel．The thickness of fruit peel is about 1.0 cm．The fruit has bright yellow flesh，tastes crispy
and refreshing with less fiber. Its seedless performance is good．The central soluble solid content is
11.5%-13.5%．Edge soluble solid content is 7.5%．Its single fruit weight is 2-4 kg．It can normally
yield about 27-30 t·hm -2.
