Application of Packchoi Variety Resource Database System

Abstract：On the basis of thorough investigation and literature review，we collected and collated the information about packchoi〔Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis（L.）Makino var. communis Tsen et Lee〕germplasm resources．The database of packchoi variety resources was established by using database，network technology，and Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2005 as development tool and VB as programming language．This database has included 600 varieties of packchoi at home an d abroad．It has the functions of information browsing for pictures and literatures about packchoi，and diversification querying in website reception desk，and also variety and us er management in website backstage．
