Abstract：The original male sterile source from the radish CMS‘Zhe 3A’was transferred to radish inbred line 117.An excellent new male sterile line 117A with good economic traits and stable sterility was obtained by crossing and backcrossing.The rates of male sterile plants of 117A was 100 %，and the traits of flowering and seeding were excellent.The cross combinations using 117A had showed strong heterosis.
