Abstract:The response of leaf photosynthesis to light and CO_ 2 were studied in 4 chieh-qua(Benincasa hispida Cogn.var.chiehqua How.)cultivars.The results showed that there were higher light saturation point,lower light compensation point,higher maximum net photosynthetic rate(Pn)at saturated-light intensity and apparent quantum yield(AQY)in 14-2,Texuan No.4 and Huangmao,which indicated their higher light utilization efficiency.CO_ 2 saturation point were similar in the 4 chieh-qua cultivars.Yueke No.2 had the highe...
