Abstract：Wucaihongtai No.1 is a new purple-tsaitai F_1 hybrid bred by crossing cytoplasmic male sterile line M-103A with inbred line 94-ST-24.It is an extremely early maturity hybrid which takes about 45 days from sowing to harvest.The flower stalk is 1.7 cm in diameter,and 40 g in average weight,purple red in color,covered with waxy powder.It has stronger resistance to soft than Hongzhao 50,similar resistance to downy mildew to Hongzha 50,and tolerance to heat.The yield is 22.5 t·hm -2.It can be cultivated in the m...
