Abstract：The growth and development of malabar spinach (Basella sp.)was divided into three stages:germination stage,main stem & leaf growth stage and lateral stem & leaf growth stage.Fresh and dry weight of plant and leaf area in- creased during growth and development of malabar spinach.There was higher vitamin C content in Red malabar spinach than that in Green one.The absorbtion ratio of N:P_2O_5:K_2O in malabar spinach was(3.1-4.1):1:(6.0-8.2).Malabar spinach had high utilization efficiency of nitrogen,phosphorus...
