Abstract：Shihong No.9 is a newmedium-maturity processing tomato F1hybrid,with 3071 -3 -5 and 3072 -4 as par-ents.It has large size bell-shaped fruit(82 g)with excellent color and is suitable for transportation and storage.The soluble sol-id content is 4.9 %;lycopene content is 154.8 mg·kg-1(FW);total sugar content is 3.2 %;total acid content is 0.27 %;dry matter content is 5.92 %.It yields 97.5 t·hm-2.It has been extended in Northwest China with total area of 3 600 hm2.
