Abstract：Zaoyou No.1 is a new sponge gourd F_1 hybrid developed by female parent S-14 and male parent S-62.The first fruit is set at 5th-8th nodes.The harvest time is 6-10 days earlier than that of control Changsharousigua.The fruit is stick shaped with green skin,tender fiesh and sweet taste.The average fruit is 30 cm in length and 5-6 cm in diameter with weight of 400-550 g.It yields 37.5 t·hm~ -2 .
