Abstract：This paper analyzed error sources on Abbe Refractometer measurement which is a conventional method for free water and bound water in plant tissues. The measurement method was improved by measuring tissues weight instead of sucrose concentration. The improved method was established by testing different plant tissues, which is simple, convenient and less error.
