Abstract iangqie No. 2’is a new early F 1 hybrid of eggplant. Its Fruits can be harvested about 30 days after transplanting. It has high resistance to bacterial wilt and early blight of eggplant,and tole rance to low temperature and flood. The fruit is long club with delicious flesh. The fruit skin is glossy purple. The fruit weight is about 150g. The yield of the hybrid is 37.5t/ha. It is suitable to early culture of spring in region of Yangtze River.
