Abstract Xiangjiao No.13’ is a hybrid crossed by a inbred line from local variety and a line from Beijing variety. Its plants grow vigorously with wide adaptation. It took 35 days from planting to the first harvest. Its early yield was about 9.5t·hm -2 ,and total yield 30t·hm -2 ,which was 16%～22% higher than that of ‘Xiangyan No.1’.
