Abstract Meiyu is a new F 1 hybrid of Summer squash. It has early maturity,high productivity,and resistance to diseases. The fruit is 26.6cm in length, 5.9cm in diameter, and 449g in average weight. The total yield is 72t·hm -2. It is suitable to grow under plastic funnel and plastic mulching.
