Abstract The experiment on growth trend of Chinese chives blade and its characteristic of tillering and bolting was carried out, using three dormancy and nine non-dormancy varieties. The results showed that without cutting in a year, a single Chinese chives plant grew 41.22 to 47.03 blades, average age of blade was 39.33 to 44.87 days.
