Abstract Based on the multiple allele hypothesis,the male sterile lines 98109 and fertile plant 99135-2 of AB lines type Ⅰ of Chinese cabbage were used as a source of male sterility,the inbred line 97A407 as goal parent. The gene of male sterility was transferred to 97A407. New AB line type Ⅰ,new male sterile line and their corresponding temporary maintainer line were abtained from transferred progenies deprived from 97A407. It promotes the breeding of F 1 hybrid of Chinese cabbage.
