Abstract Hujiao No.1 is a new sweet pepper F1 hybrid crossing 91-5-1-4 as female parent with 91-30-6-1 as male parent. It is early maturity, lantern-shape fruit, with thin wall, slight pungant, good quality and marketable character. Average fruit weights is 60 g. It yields 200 t · hm-2,and has been extended in Huhehot and Baotou of Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shandong, Hebei, Xinjiang for 220 hm2.
