Abstract Oujiangyidianhong and Oujiangerchiyu were developed by system selection from Thailand cowpea. Oujiangyidianhong takes 69 days from sowing to the first harvest in spring. The pod is 70-90 cm in length, 0.8-1.0 cm in diameter, 25-30 g in weight, tastes sweet and crisp. Fresh pod yield is 30.0-37.5 t·hm -2 . It is resistant to Fusarium wilt and TuMV.
