Abstract Trichoderma spp.was isolated from the substitute cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus, then the antagonistic action of isolated Trichoderma viride with Fusarium oxyporum and Rhizoctonia solani on cucumber was researched. The isolated Trichoderma viride TH4 strongly antagonized these two soil-borne pathogens. The parasitism of TH4 on these two soil-borne pathogens was observed by optical microscopy.By the cellophane disk method and enclosed chamber test,we drew the conclusion that the non-volatile metabolites and volatile metabolites of TH4 had the inhibition effect to the two soil-borne pathogens.
